Over 2,600 Notre Dame graduates will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.  1 out of 8 women in Orange County will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.  In 2007, an estimated 1,785 women and men will be diagnosed and 350 will die from breast cancer in Orange County.

HOW:       Join our NDCOC team!  Register online as a team member (not an individual) at www.komenoc.org.  Look for our team page under "Notre Dame Club of Orange County."  The team registration deadline is SEPTEMBER 12.

Make a donation to the NDCOC team!  You can do this online at our team page until OCTOBER 10.  Or send a check payable to “Komen Orange County Race for the Cure” to NDCOC,  PMB#111, 25108-B Marguerite Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA  92692-2400 by OCTOBER 7.

 

The NDCOC Race for the Cure team needs you!  All registered participants will get the official Race t-shirt; those who show up on race day will also get the green NDCOC “Fightin’ Irish for a Cure” team t-shirt (if you already have one, be sure to wear it).  Join us before and after the Coed Run/Walk at our NDCOC tent in the team tailgate area.  There are great pledge prizes available for those of you who want to raise money.  75% of the funds raised stay in the OC; the remaining 25% goes to national research programs.  Can’t make it?  Join our team anyway and “Sleep in for the Cure” - support the cause while getting your beauty rest.  You can also register as a V.I.P. and get some special items.
